Honest picks.
My go-to espresso machine. Reliable PID-tunable workhorse that punches well above its price class.
Flat burr grinder for espresso. Incredibly consistent grind and easy workflow.
Hand grinder for filter and travel. Outstanding clarity in the cup, satisfying to use.
My brewer of choice for filter coffee. Clean, repeatable, great clarity.
A fruity espresso blend. Lots of purple — dried grapes, raisin, prunes, and dates — followed by tropical fruit, green apple, and a milk chocolate finish.
I only recommend gear I personally use.
More background & education
The path into engineering started with computer networking and infrastructure. Freelance software projects in 2014 led to professional web development, then product engineering on large-scale applications.
At GovTech Edu and INA Digital Edu, the work grew from senior software engineering into engineering management: technical decisions, mentoring, delivery coordination, and keeping production services running.
Today, as a Frontend Engineer at KPTDP, the focus is hands-on engineering again. Returning to an individual contributor role was a deliberate choice to spend more time building software and solving technical problems.
